• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and analyze the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students and their families.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.
• Collaborate with educators and school personnel to implement service plans that align with students' academic and personal goals.
• Advocate for the rights of students and their families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources, services, and supports.
• Engage in community outreach and educational programs aimed at fostering awareness about mental health and social justice among students and community members.
• Contribute to ongoing program development, evaluation, and grant reporting to enhance service delivery and effectiveness.
• Attend regular team meetings, professional development sessions, and community networking events to maintain a high standard of care and expand your skill set.

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and their families within the Yakima community. You'll interact with a diverse range of individuals, including those from marginalized backgrounds, and those experiencing various challenges such as trauma, grief, mental health issues, and socio-economic hardships. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving student outcomes and fostering resilience within the community.

• Required Education: A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills are essential in building trust and rapport with clients.

• Experience working in nonprofit organizations or educational settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, advocacy processes, and community resource navigation is a plus.
