Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
- Deliver counseling services that address emotional issues, behavioral challenges, and mental health conditions, ensuring adherence to best practices in social work.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to create safe and supportive environments conducive to student learning and growth.
- Utilize supervision and consultation when addressing complex case issues, contributing to a team-based approach to problem-solving.
- Provide training sessions for educational staff on recognizing and addressing students' mental health challenges, enhancing the school's overall support framework.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, regularly documenting patient progress and evaluating treatment effectiveness.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents within the school system, including those with dual diagnoses and various social and emotional challenges. Qualifications- A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic counseling is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with children, families, and educational staff.
- Robust organizational skills, capable of managing multiple cases and prioritizing needs effectively.
- Experience working in school settings or with youth populations is highly desirable.
- Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment outcomes effectively.
