1. Design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, or similar platforms.
2. Translate business requirements into effective visual solutions that communicate insights clearly and accurately.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and ensure visualizations align with strategic objectives.
4. Optimize performance and usability of dashboards and reports for various audiences.
5. Mentor junior developers and contribute to visualization standards and best practices
6. Stay current with emerging trends in data visualization and analytics technologies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education, Licensure or Certification:

Work Experience or Related Experience

โ€ข 5+years of experience in data visualization or BI development
โ€ข Experience in one or more visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker)
โ€ข Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

โ€ข Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) and web technologies (e.g, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus
โ€ข Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey data insights effectively
โ€ข Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across large, complex datasets preferred.
โ€ข Hands-on expertise with Snowflake: data modeling, performance tuning, and working with semi- structured data (e.g., JSON, XML) is a plus
โ€ข Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools like SSIS, Apache Airflow, or Azure Data Factory preferred
โ€ข Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and best practices for scalable analytics preferred
โ€ข Experience integrating visualization tools with cloud-based data sources and APIs preferred
โ€ข Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments preferred
โ€ข Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
โ€ข Knowledge of UX/UI principles in dashboard design is preferred
