YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


We are seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our AdmitIT product. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, identify defects, collaborate closely with development teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of our testing processes. You will work across manual and automated testing, balance thoroughness with delivery timelines, and help raise the overall quality bar.

Requirements

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Bruno, Cypress, or similar 

Exposure to API testing and related tools 

Comfortable working in a Linux environment or possess a foundational understanding of Linux 

Quick learner with a proactive, adaptable mindset 

Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional testing, API testing, accessibility (508), and role-based testing 

Strong documentation skills: manual test cases, test procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices (RVTM), and test plans 

Proficient in GitLab workflow processes 

Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration


Desired Skills

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with requirements and specifications 

Execute both manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, UAT, API, accessibility (508), and role-based testing 

Identify, document, track, verify defects, provide clear reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, and severity assessments 

Analyze test outcomes, report   findings, and deliver actionable feedback to developers and stakeholders 

Collaborate effectively with team members throughout the software development lifecycle 

Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks, increasing coverage for critical   workflows 

Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning/review sessions 

Help define and refine QA processes, standards, and best practices to drive continuous improvement 

Prioritize testing activities to balance quality assurance with project timelines and deliverables 

Maintain thorough documentation of test artifacts, results, and quality metrics
