Job Description

As an EMR Implementation Project Manager in the Implementation team, you will lead the implementation of MYLE for new clinics and healthcare organizations across Ontario. From the moment a contract is signed, you become the primary point of contact responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a successful transition from a clinic's existing EMR to MYLE.

You will manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, acting as the central point of coordination between clinic leadership and MEDFAR teams to ensure successful deployments and a seamless transition to MYLE.

This role combines project leadership, healthcare workflow analysis, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Your work will have a direct impact on helping healthcare organizations successfully adopt MYLE and realize the full value of their transition.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Clinic Implementations

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding and deployment of MYLE for a portfolio of clinics across Ontario.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation strategies tailored to each clinic.
  • Coordinate data validation activities with internal teams and clients to ensure transferred data is accurate, complete, and usable.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.

Guide Workflow Transformation and EMR Adoption

  • Lead discovery and planning workshops to understand each clinic's goals, workflows, and operational needs.
  • Analyze and document clinical and administrative workflows to support a successful transition to MYLE.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and help clinics adopt best practices enabled by MYLE.
  • Support organizational change and guide clinic teams through the adoption of new workflows and technologies.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from implementation to ongoing operations and support.

Build Strong Client Relationships

  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation journey.
  • Establish trusted relationships with clinic leaders, physicians, and staff.
  • Communicate project status, decisions, risks, and outcomes clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Foster client engagement and ensure a positive onboarding experience.

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the evolution of MEDFAR's onboarding methodology, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Migration, Training, and Support teams to improve implementation outcomes.
  • Share client feedback, market insights, and lessons learned to continuously enhance the onboarding experience.
Qualifications
  • University degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Backgrounds in healthcare, business, technology, health informatics, or related fields are welcomed.
  • 3+ years of experience leading client-facing implementation, deployment, transformation, or operational projects.
  • Experience leading software implementation, change management, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Experience documenting, analyzing, and improving business, clinical, or operational workflows.
  • Experience in healthcare technology, EMR/EHR implementations, healthcare operations, or health informatics is preferred.
  • PMP or other recognized project management certifications are considered assets.
  • Bilingual : English and French, an asset

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Travel to client sites (~30% of your time)  throughout Ontario as required
