• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments including psychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, and diagnostic interviews.
• Work collaboratively with students to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, aspirations, and cultural backgrounds.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions in various formats: individual, couple, family, and group therapy, utilizing techniques such as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Administer crisis intervention services, coordinating care with teachers, school nurses, and other health care professionals for students experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, adhering to compliance standards and ensuring the integrity of patient information.
• Deliver psychoeducation to empower students and their families with tools to navigate mental health challenges.
• Participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, fostering cooperation and communication among psychiatrists, psychologists, and school personnel.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Stay informed of contemporary best practices in mental health, continuously integrating new knowledge into therapeutic strategies.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality concerning all patient interactions.

This position primarily serves students within a school setting, where you will work with a diverse population, including children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise in culturally sensitive counseling will help you build rapport with students from various backgrounds, enabling you to address their unique perspectives and experiences effectively.

• Master's degree in Social Work is required.
• An active state-issued license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Proven ability to operate independently while exhibiting effective teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing trust with students and collaborating with educational staff.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in school or community settings is highly desirable.
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices will give candidates an edge.
