This position operates fully remotely, allowing you to maintain a flexible work-life balance while focusing on your counseling duties. You will engage with clients primarily through telehealth platforms, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to deliver high-quality therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to create individualized care plans that align with their specific needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families using a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Support clients in identifying challenges, setting therapeutic milestones, and tracking their progress throughout the treatment process.
• Adhere to confidentiality laws and ethical standards while maintaining accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.
• Engage in continued education and professional development activities, participating in relevant trainings, workshops, and case consultations.

The ideal candidate will work with a broad spectrum of clients, including those facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. You will be expected to demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity when addressing the diverse backgrounds of your clients, ensuring that all individuals feel respected and understood during their therapy sessions.

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont.
• Proficiency in employing evidence-based therapeutic practices to meet clients' unique needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
• A proactive mindset towards working both independently and collaboratively within a virtual team setting.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy in diverse settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
• Experience working with multi-faceted mental health issues and integrating holistic approaches into treatment plans.
