Job Description
We are seeking an SEO Specialist to join our Growth team and lead day-to-day organic search execution across the Snap Finance family of websites, including SnapFinance.com, FlexShopper.com, and Seen.com. In this individual contributor role, you will own keyword strategy, support content development, recommend technical and on-page optimizations, and help drive both consumer and merchant-facing organic growth.
You will partner closely with Growth, Content, and Development teams to expand organic visibility, improve site health, and grow long-term traffic performance within a regulated financial services environment where compliance awareness is essential.
How you'll make an impact:
  • Own content research and mapping across the site, prioritizing searches by intent, difficulty, and business value for both consumer and merchant audiences
  • Execute on-page optimizations across landing pages, blog content, and product pages, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and content structure
  • Perform ongoing technical SEO audits and work with the development team to prioritize and implement fixes covering crawlability, indexation, page speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and site architecture
  • Develop content briefs for the content team that translate keyword strategy into actionable page-level guidance, including target terms, search intent, recommended structure, and internal link targets
  • Monitor organic performance in various monitoring tools, identifying ranking changes, traffic shifts, and content gaps that require action
  • Support localized SEO execution across state, city, and merchant-specific pages, coordinating with development on dynamic page templates where applicable
  • Coordinate with compliance on SEO-driven content to ensure all published material meets financial services advertising and regulatory standards before going live
  • Track algorithm updates and assess their impact on site performance, communicating findings and recommended responses to the Director of Growth

What you'll need to succeed:
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on SEO experience with direct ownership of keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and technical SEO execution, ideally at an in-house brand rather than purely agency-side
  • Proficiency with Ahrefs or Semrush for keyword research, site audits, and rank tracking, and working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving technical SEO issues including crawl errors, duplicate content, redirect chains, structured data problems, and Core Web Vitals failures
  • Experience writing or editing content briefs and working cross-functionally with content, development, and compliance teams to get optimized pages built and published
  • Working knowledge of HTML sufficient to understand page structure, identify technical issues, and communicate fixes clearly to a development team
  • Experience in a regulated industry (financial services, insurance, healthcare, or similar) is a strong plus

Why Join Us:
  • Generous paid time off
  • Competitive medical, dental & vision coverage
  • 401K with company match for US
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Company-paid short-term and long-term disability
  • Access to mental health and wellness resources
  • Company-paid volunteer time to do good in your community
  • Legal coverage and other supplemental options
  • A value-based culture where growth opportunities are endless
