• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ emotional and behavioral health, developing personalized treatment plans that are responsive to ongoing changes in client needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as solution-focused therapy and trauma-informed care methodologies, to support client wellness and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while providing insightful documentation of treatment progress.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and additional healthcare providers, to deliver holistic care and ensure coordinated treatment efforts.
• Educate and empower patients and their families by providing essential information regarding treatment options, behavioral health strategies, and community resources.
• Stay informed on the latest mental health research, tools, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of your interventions and support service provision.

In this position, you will primarily work with clients who are navigating the challenges of substance use disorders and related mental health issues. Our patient population includes individuals from varying socio-economic backgrounds, ages, and cultural experiences, all of whom need understanding, empathy, and professional guidance as they work through recovery. Your role is critical in establishing therapeutic relationships built on trust and respect, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to express their concerns and ambitions.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required; advanced degrees may be considered based on experience.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia is essential for this role.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in social work or related fields is necessary to ensure best practices and effective client engagement.
• Proficiency in employing various solution-based psychotherapeutic techniques, along with strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities, with a keen ability to adapt interventions to meet individual client needs.
• A strong preference for working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Prior experience in substance use treatment settings, crisis intervention, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
