Work Environment

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while being an integral part of our psychotherapeutic team. While the majority of your work will be conducted during regular business hours, with specified hours from Monday to Friday, some evening hours may be required on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health and substance use situations, and identify co-occurring disorders through comprehensive evaluations.
  • Collaborate with clients in creating tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapies addressing both mental health and substance use issues.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with essential coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and techniques for emotional regulation.
  • Engage in regular case coordination with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and nursing staff, to ensure holistic care.
  • Implement ongoing substance use monitoring protocols and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery efforts.
  • Educate clients and their families on the connection between mental health and substance use disorders to enhance understanding and treatment compliance.
  • Document treatment progress, interventions, and referrals accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to both ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate actively in weekly case conferences, team meetings, and professional development training sessions to improve your skills in co-occurring disorder treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on working with diverse clients who are navigating the complexities of co-occurring disorders. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Florida is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including approaches like Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • A strong grasp of the relationship between mental health and substance use, combined with excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy within an integrated care context is preferred.
  • Experience working in telehealth environments will be beneficial, allowing for smooth adaptation to remote service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is USD 80,000 โ€“ 100,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
