Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status, employing recognized diagnostic tools and evidence-based assessment methods.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans, tailored to address the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing techniques that promote healing and resilience based on cultural competence.
  • Provide clients with coping strategies and life skills to help them overcome challenges, including crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and support groups, when clients require additional services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience, showcasing progressive responsibility in therapeutic settings.
  • Deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
