Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children identified as needing early intervention services.
  • Collaborate with families to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring that interventions are tailored to meet specific needs.
  • Monitor and track outcomes, making necessary adjustments to care plans in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide evidence-based strategies and support to families aimed at enhancing their child's development in natural settings.
  • Facilitate family education sessions to equip families with the skills needed to support their child’s growth.
  • Develop rapport with children and families to create a nurturing and encouraging learning environment.
  • Utilize coaching methods and principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices to deliver effective interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to child welfare and early intervention services.
  • Maintain clear records and documentation of services, family interactions, and progress toward goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or delays in their development. By focusing on the first critical years of life, our LCSWs directly contribute to fostering essential skills in children, including social-emotional, communication, cognitive, and physical developments. You will work closely with families to ensure they are active participants in their child’s developmental journey.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Current licensure by the Department of Public Health, with an LCSW designation required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for potential in-home visits and community engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in adapting treatment approaches to accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring each child's unique needs are met.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborative teamwork and family interactions.
  • Commitment to the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices.
