Title: Google Commerce Engineer / Developer
Employment: Contract to Hire
Location: Chicago, IL - Remote
Global Client recently assumed responsibility for a strategic Google Commerce initiative supporting a large enterprise client. The team requires experienced engineers who can design, build, and enhance cloud-native commerce applications running on Google Cloud Platform.
This role focuses on developing scalable, secure, and highly available commerce solutions supporting digital ordering, customer engagement, and business growth initiatives.
First 30 Days
  • Understand existing commerce platform architecture
  • Learn application integrations and business workflows
  • Review current development backlog and delivery priorities

Within 60 Days
  • Deliver enhancements to commerce applications
  • Improve API integrations and platform performance
  • Contribute to cloud-native development initiatives

Within 90 Days
  • Deliver production-ready commerce capabilities
  • Improve scalability and reliability
  • Support modernization and future-state architecture initiatives
