Job description

Remote Psychiatrist - Part-time, Kansas Licensed
Location: Remote/Tele
Schedule: Part-time (28 hours per week Monday-Friday), Flexible Schedule
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide telehealth psychiatric care for adult patients in Kansas. This role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for a provider available for an immediate opening. This role supports the care team by delivering timely psychiatric assessments, treatment recommendations, and care coordination remotely for a clinic located in Hays, Kansas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform psychiatric initial evaluations and follow‑up assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in line with clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide consult liaison services to support staff and ensure timely psychiatric interventions.
  • Apply a patient-centered approach to care, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Maintain reliability with assigned shifts and consult volumes.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Kansas preferred.
  • Experience with telepsychiatry and managing diverse, multi-age patient populations is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work remotely; candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. (Kansas licensure preferred).
