As part of our remote team, you will collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, employing secure platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions. • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific emotional and psychological needs of elderly clients, enabling personalized care planning.
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions to address various emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, and feelings of isolation commonly faced by seniors.
• Develop and implement strategies for enhancing emotional well-being, working alongside families and staff to educate them on best practices for supporting aging relatives.
• Provide specialized grief and loss counseling to clients and their families, guiding them through end-of-life issues and facilitating adaptive coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients, contributing to improved mental health outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on elderly individuals who may be grappling with significant life changes such as loss, retirement, or health-related concerns. This role provides you with the opportunity to tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of seniors and their families, fostering resilience and emotional growth during their later stages of life.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting, demonstrating hands-on experience with diverse populations.
• License eligibility in the state of Massachusetts as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing for potential community engagements or outreach activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to foster trust and rapport quickly with clients.

• Experience working with elderly populations, specifically in settings focused on mental health, gerontology, or related fields.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver counseling services effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based practices in therapeutic settings, especially those addressing grief and loss.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, with the added incentive of a sign-on bonus. In addition to salary, we provide monthly productivity bonuses, generous paid time off (PTO), and sick time to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
