What is a remote driver?

A remote driver is a professional who operates vehicles from a distance using specialized technology, such as cameras, sensors, and remote-control systems. This role is common in industries where vehicles need to be driven in hazardous environments, during vehicle testing, or for teleoperations in autonomous vehicle fleets. Remote drivers ensure safety and efficiency by controlling the vehicle from a secure location, often using real-time video feeds and advanced communication tools. This job requires strong technical skills, quick decision-making, and a good understanding of vehicle operations.

How do remote drivers communicate and coordinate with their dispatch teams?

Remote drivers usually rely on a combination of specialized software, mobile apps, and real-time communication tools to stay in constant touch with their dispatch teams. This coordination helps drivers receive route updates, handle unexpected issues like traffic or vehicle concerns, and report delivery statuses. Effective communication is key to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction, so remote drivers are often expected to be comfortable with digital tools and proactive in updating their teams. Regular virtual check-ins and clear reporting protocols are standard industry practices to maintain smooth operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote driver?

To thrive as a Remote Driver, you need a valid driver's license, strong driving skills, and a good safety record. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, telematics, and mobile apps for route management is typically required. Excellent time management, communication, and adaptability to changing conditions help set top performers apart. These skills ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery in dynamic, technology-driven environments.

About Pitcoff Law Group
Pitcoff Law Group is a nationally recognized, rapidly growing commercial litigation and business law firm representing founders, executives, businesses, and investors in high-stakes disputes.
We were named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies and have ranked among the Law Firm 500's fastest-growing law firms in the country for three consecutive years, including #15 nationally in 2025 and #1 in business law and commercial litigation.
As we continue to grow, we are expanding our client-development function and looking for an accomplished sales professional who can convert strong prospective-client demand into lasting client relationships and new business.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Advisor, Client Development to join our sales team and own prospective-client relationships across inbound inquiries, referrals, follow-up opportunities, and targeted outreach.
This is a results-driven, consultative sales role working with business owners, executives, and professionals who are often navigating significant legal and financial issues.
Our attorneys provide legal consultations and substantive legal guidance when appropriate. The Senior Advisor owns the broader sales process - understanding client needs and decision drivers, coordinating attorney involvement, addressing non-legal questions and objections, and guiding qualified prospects toward engagement.
The right person is a strong closer who combines sales discipline with judgment, credibility, persistence, and the ability to build trust quickly.
You will work closely with attorneys, firm leadership, marketing, and operations and have a meaningful role in strengthening the firm's sales process as we grow.
What You'll Do
  • Own prospective-client opportunities from initial contact through signed engagement
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand needs, assess fit, communicate value, and establish clear next steps
  • Manage a consistent pipeline of inbound inquiries, referrals, prior opportunities, and targeted outreach
  • Coordinate closely with attorneys conducting legal consultations and drive timely follow-up afterward
  • Identify decision drivers, navigate objections, and guide qualified prospects toward engagement
  • Recognize when substantive legal questions require attorney involvement
  • Coordinate with attorneys and operations to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to client
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, conversion, and revenue data in the firm's CRM
  • Partner with marketing and leadership to improve lead quality, messaging, conversion strategy, and the prospective-client experience
What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding conversion and new-business revenue goals
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline with strong follow-up and conversion discipline
  • Delivering a polished, responsive, and trustworthy prospective-client experience
  • Building effective working relationships with attorneys and managing opportunities smoothly around legal consultations
  • Maintaining accurate CRM data and using sales insights to improve performance
  • Exercising sound judgment and following firm policies, ethical requirements, and compliance procedures
Who We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of successful consultative, relationship-based, or high-value sales experience
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding revenue, conversion, or new-business targets
  • Strong closing ability and comfort asking prospective clients to make a decision and move forward
  • Skilled at uncovering needs, understanding decision drivers, building trust, and navigating objections
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable engaging with business owners, executives, professionals, and other sophisticated decision-makers
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive or complex situations
  • Comfortable partnering with attorneys or other subject-matter experts in a consultative sales process
  • Organized, persistent, accountable, and disciplined in pipeline management and follow-up
  • Self-directed and effective in a remote environment while remaining connected and responsive to the broader team
  • Technologically savvy and comfortable using CRM, communication, and workflow platforms
  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM is a plus
  • Experience in legal services, financial services, insurance, healthcare, compliance, or another regulated or professional-services environment is highly valued
  • New York City-area candidates are preferred, with flexibility to attend occasional in-person meetings
Why Join Pitcoff Law Group
  • Join a growing firm where strong performers can have real influence on how the sales function develops
  • Earn uncapped performance incentives tied to measurable results
  • Gain direct visibility into firm growth strategy and client-development priorities
  • Work in a remote-first environment that offers flexibility without sacrificing collaboration or accountability
Compensation & Benefits
  • Target total compensation of $75,000-$125,000 annually, including base salary and uncapped performance incentives
  • Clear performance tiers and transparent metrics governing incentive opportunities
  • Health insurance options with up to 100% of individual premiums covered
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability and life insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution
  • Paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal time
  • Remote-first work environment with opportunities for in-person collaboration in New York City
