The work setting is predominantly remote, affiliated with our hospital facility based in New York, New York. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments focused on infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.
• Actively participate in the development and execution of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal development and support.
• Provide targeted support and resources for families, empowering them with strategies to enhance their child’s development in a natural learning environment.
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations regarding early intervention services, consistently maintaining compliance with quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families while creating a supportive and engaging environment for development.
• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies informed by Natural Learning Environment Principles, applying them during in-home visits or virtual sessions.
• Champion a coaching model that fosters parental involvement and enhances the family's skills for supporting their child's growth.

In this role, you will primarily serve infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays, along with their families. You will engage with diverse backgrounds and circumstances, ensuring culturally sensitive and individualized care tailored to each family's unique situation. Your approach will incorporate active listening and empathy, focusing on empowering families and facilitating their child’s development within the context of their everyday lives.

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
• Current driver’s license to allow for potential in-home or on-site assessments.
• A minimum of one year of direct experience in early intervention services with children.
• A strong commitment to applying Natural Learning Environment Practices in your work.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills required for effective client and team interactions.
• A collaborative spirit and appreciation for working in team-oriented settings.

• Bilingual capabilities that enhance communication with a diverse client population.
• Previous experience with telehealth services and digital assessment tools.
• Background in community resource navigation and knowledge of local support services.
