Job Summary

The Drafter 2 position involves CAD drafting for boundary, transmission line right-of-way, and land tie surveys. The role requires 3+ years of drafting experience, with an associate's degree in drafting preferred. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for writing metes and bounds or centerline descriptions and supporting survey field crews and office personnel through research and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Documentation

  • Perform CAD drafting for boundary, transmission line right-of-way, and land tie surveys.
  • Write metes and bounds or centerline descriptions for assigned projects.
  • Transmit completed projects to appropriate teams and agencies.

Research & Coordination

  • Research existing survey and real estate records to support drafting activities.
  • Contact local and state agencies to gather right-of-way information.
  • Assist survey field crews and office personnel with data collection and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • 3+ years of drafting experience.
  • Associate's degree in drafting preferred.
