Location: 100% Remote in the US- working core CST hours
Start Date Is: ASAP (2 weeks from an offer)
Duration: Full Time/ Permanent Position
Compensation Range: $140-145k base plus bonus

Job Summary

The Manager of Enterprise Business Solutions leads the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions that support my client's strategic and operational goals. This role oversees a blended team of .NET and Power Platform developers, driving innovation through modern application architecture, AI enablement, and rapid delivery methodologies.

The Manager partners closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable, secure, and value-driven solutions, balancing speed, quality, and maintainability in a lean environment. This position is both strategic and hands-on, accountable for end-to-end solution delivery, team development, and alignment with enterprise IT standards and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the Enterprise Business Solutions team across .NET, Power Platform, and related integration technologies.
  • Defines and champions enterprise standards and patterns for the adoption of AI and automation technologies to improve development efficiency, solution quality, and business outcomes.
  • Acts as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable value.
  • Partners with enterprise architecture, security, and data teams to align solutions with IT governance and broader enterprise goals.
  • Engages directly with senior leadership to present solutions, communicate technical strategies, and influence business priorities, demonstrating strong executive presence and business partnership.
  • Owns and manages full solution lifecycles from discovery and design through delivery, adoption, and support.
  • Oversees solution design and implementation to ensure scalability, security, and best practice alignment.
  • Balances low-code (Power Platform) and pro-code (.NET) approaches to deliver efficient and maintainable solutions.
  • Drives continuous improvement through agile practices, iterative releases, and proactive stakeholder engagement.
  • Applies sound project management principles to deliver solutions on time and within budget while effectively managing risks and dependencies.
  • Promotes integration of AI and advanced analytics capabilities into enterprise applications.
  • Guides build-versus-buy decisions and help the organization select the right technical path for each business need.
  • Encourages experimentation with emerging technologies that accelerate business value.
  • Partners with internal teams to evaluate and prioritize automation and process optimization initiatives based on business impract, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Recruits, develops, and mentors team members to build a high-performing, cross-functional group with a strong delivery culture.
  • Provides coaching and professional development for all developers, fostering technical excellence, solution quality, and continuous growth.
  • Establishes clear goals, measures performance, and maintains accountability for results.
  • Fosters collaboration across IT, business, and clinical teams through clear communication and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and leverage technology including the use of AI to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Scope

This role serves as the central point of accountability for enterprise application development, solution architecture, and innovation delivery. It requires a blend of technical depth, business acumen, and leadership maturity. The Manager of Enterprise Business Solutions influences technology direction and standards across the organization and contributes directly to the overall IT strategic plan.

Qualifications

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in enterprise software development or solution delivery.
  • At least three (3) years of management or technical leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Proven success leading hybrid development teams using .NET and Power Platform or similar technologies.
  • Experience driving technology adoption and organizational change in complex environments.
  • Experience integrating AI or automation technologies preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Azure, or Dynamics are desirable.
  • Project management or Agile certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP) are a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise software architecture, integration patterns, and cloud technologies.
  • Expertise with Microsoft ecosystem tools including Power Platform, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and Dataverse.
