This position is remote, home office based in specifically approved states of employment. Approved States: Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington State. Applicants will need to attest to meeting technical requirements for remote work functionality.

Job Vision: This critical role consults with business stakeholders and other project to members to mold the New Wave Group vision in to web based solutions to increase revenue & optimize internal productivity. Success in the role requires demonstrated aptitude in these core competencies: C#, SQL, HTML, Javascript (React), CSS, Azure Dev Ops (Pipelines, Functions), and Event Based Architecture. A successful developer would also demonstrate creativity, discipline & judgment in planning & estimating work to accomplish deadlines on time and within budget. Work will usually be project based but ongoing maintenance is some percentage of the job up to and including hotfixes. The ideal candidate will also be able to show some documentation of their prior work and be able to outline their strategies for testing.

Job Summary and Essential Functions:

  • Design, build, and maintain ecommerce and internal web applications using React, backed by C# and Azure-hosted services
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to translate ecommerce requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain event-driven workflows using Azure Functions, Azure WebJobs, and service bus integrations to support B2C and B2B commerce operations
  • Integrate with third-party platforms and APIs including payment processors, PIM systems, ERP systems, and CMS platforms
  • Write, optimize, and maintain MSSQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines to support ecommerce reporting and operations
  • Manage deployments, pipelines, and source control through Azure DevOps
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering architecture, integrations, and processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other members of IT on larger cross-functional projects
  • Participate in strategic planning discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Willingness to learn new programming languages and tools.
  • Keep abreast of IT advancements, industry trends, development and support methodologies, and best practices and apply them to the job as appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the core stack:
