What You'll Do

Relocity is seeking an Instructional Designer for a full-time, fixed-term six-month assignment to help build the foundation of our learning and development programs, including onboarding curriculum, training resources, and scalable learning experiences that support our employee and contractor workforce.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys creating learning experiences from the ground up, modernizing training content, and leveraging technology and AI to improve knowledge transfer at scale. Working closely with stakeholders across Operations and HR, you will assess current training needs, develop learning solutions, and deliver a set of sustainable training resources that can be maintained and scaled by internal teams over time.

How You'll Do It
  • Design and build scalable onboarding programs for Relocity's employee and contractor populations
  • Develop structured learning pathways that support operational readiness and knowledge retention
  • Create assessments, simulations, job aids, and other learning resources that reinforce key workflows and business processes
  • Develop training that supports adoption of Relocity's proprietary mobility platform and AI-enabled workflows
  • Transform legacy training materials into modern digital learning experiences, including video-based and self-service learning modules
  • Create knowledge base resources, FAQs, operational documentation, and reusable learning assets
  • Evaluate learning technologies and provide recommendations that support future scalability
  • Deliver documentation, frameworks, and recommendations that enable internal teams to maintain and evolve learning programs beyond the duration of the assignment
What Past Experience and Current Skills Will Enable Your Success in This Role?
  • 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Learning Experience Design, Enablement, or Organizational Development
  • Experience designing and building onboarding programs, training systems, or learning infrastructure from the ground up
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
  • Experience creating e-learning, video-based learning, and blended learning solutions
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning technologies
  • Proficiency with tools such as Articulate 360, Synthesia, Google Vids, or similar content authoring platforms
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to support content development and learning design
  • Strong project management and consulting skills
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to identify learning needs and translate them into effective training solutions
  • Excellent written communication and content development abilities
  • Ability to independently manage projects and deliver high-quality work

  • Experience in SaaS, HR technology, mobility, hospitality, customer success, or service-based organizations

Pay Range: $30-$45/hour, based on experience
