Gross Annual Base Salary: USD 99,000 - 128,500

Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply. Total compensation is based on experience, skills, and location using objective, job-related criteria.

Summary

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be a critical member in building, automating, securing, and operating the cloud platforms that power OneStream's global SaaS offerings. The Cloud Engineering team is focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and highly automated infrastructure solutions that improve platform resiliency, operational excellence, and engineering velocity across the organization. Your primary function will involve designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native services across Azure and Kubernetes environments. This role plays a key part in improving the scalability, security, reliability, and operational maturity of OneStream's global SaaS platform. In this position, you will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Cloud Operations. Your expertise will help drive modernization, operational improvements, and platform standardization while contributing to a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform, PowerShell, ARM, Bicep, Bash and YAML languages.
  • Deliver high-quality implementations in a timely manner.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting secure, reliable and repeatable deployments.
  • Update technical documentation, workflows, and knowledge base articles.
  • Build knowledge in focused areas of the OneStream platform and deployment stack.
  • Participate in collaborative engineering, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other teams to define, estimate, and implement requirements for new automations or services needed for development.
  • Apply software engineering best practices to infrastructure and automation development.
  • Optimize cloud environments for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues across cloud platforms and services.
  • Work with Compliance and Security teams to ensure compliance with required controls.

Required Education and Experience

  • BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or technology-related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of cloud infrastructure experience primarily with Azure.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure-As-Code concepts and tooling (Terraform, Bicep, ARM or CloudFormation templates) on Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with observability tooling such as Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Experience with cloud architecture concepts including scalability, resiliency, security, and identity management.
  • Familiar with Agile Development methodologies utilizing Jira, Confluence and Azure DevOps Boards.
  • Experience using modern AI-assisted development tooling such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with the following technologies, tools, and concepts:
    • Automating processes using Bash, CLI, PowerShell, REST APIs, ARM Templates, or other scripting languages.
    • Proficiency with source control platforms such as Git and GitHub.
    • Knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, GKE
    • Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud (GCP).
    • Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant Azure experience deploying and managing leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC) concepts.
  • Experience working for a cloud service provider (CSP), managed service provider (MSP), or SaaS provider.
  • Experience supporting cloud-native applications and containerized workloads on Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, OpenShift, GKE, or EKS.
  • Microsoft Windows Server, Ubuntu and enterprise Linux distributions, IIS, and Kestrel.
  • Experience supporting highly available and scalable Azure SQL platforms including Azure SQL Database, Hyperscale, and SQL Managed Instance.
  • Microsoft Certifications: (AZ-104 - Azure Administrator Associate, AI-900 / AI-901 - Azure AI Fundamentals, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate).
  • Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
