Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs utilizing a variety of assessment tools and techniques to inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to client needs, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on effective therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing supervision and consultation with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to holistic care strategies that encompass medical, psychological, and social considerations.
• Continuously educate yourself on the latest research and advancements in mental health counseling to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Horizons Pathways, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, families, and children facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will be pivotal in creating safe therapeutic environments where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Qualifications

• A master's degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent is essential for this role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated capacity to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and an understanding of various mental health concerns.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and regulations is highly desirable, given the remote nature of our services.
• Previous experience in an outpatient or community mental health setting is a strong asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
