Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history, emotional state, and mental health needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that not only address addiction but also target co-occurring mental health conditions, incorporating evidence-based techniques tailored to each client.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy meetings, utilizing proven methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to foster client engagement and progress.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the treatment team to ensure that care is integrated and skills are reinforced across various therapeutic modalities.
• Involve clients' families in the treatment process as appropriate, educating them about addiction and recovery to promote a holistic support system.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies, ensuring that all documentation is up to date and accessible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals dealing with substance use disorders and may encounter clients from diverse backgrounds with unique mental health challenges. This position requires cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively address the varied needs of our clientele, guiding them through their journey of recovery with empathy and respect.

Qualifications

• Be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or hold a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this position.
• Completion of specialized training in addiction counseling, with a solid foundation in mental health best practices.
• A thorough understanding of evidence-based practices concerning substance abuse and concurrent mental health disorders, allowing you to provide relevant and effective treatment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 based on your experience and credentials.
