These roles often include tasks like risk assessment, emergency planning, crisis communication, data analysis, and policy development. Professionals in this field might work for nonprofits, government agencies, or private companies, using digital tools and communication platforms to coordinate disaster resilience efforts across different regions. The goal is to strengthen the ability of communities to withstand and bounce back from adverse events, all while working remotely.
