Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and collaborate on treatment planning to develop effective pre-crisis and crisis management strategies tailored to each client.
• Engage in ongoing documentation of counseling sessions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accurate records in a timely manner.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team, enhancing the quality and efficacy of therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that align with individual client needs.
• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the clinic's commitment to excellence in mental health services.
• Serve as a liaison for clients navigating various service systems, state agencies, and community partnerships, ensuring holistic support.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with contractors, community organizations, and external partners to promote our mission and expand our outreach.
• Engage in continual learning and professional development through attending relevant conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings related to mental health practice.
• Embrace and promote the agency's mission, values, and principles in day-to-day interactions and counseling sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to a well-functioning and responsive clinic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMHC in our clinic, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, those recovering from substance use disorders, and members of the community with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your role will significantly impact their journey toward healing and wellness, enabling clients to achieve personal goals and fostering resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in the mental health field is required.
• Possession of an Independent LMHC license is mandatory for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth or remote counseling setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and client management is advantageous.
• A background in collaborative treatment planning and team-based care is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
