Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to understand client needs and formulate personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to each individual’s specific challenges.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, showcasing professionalism and ethical practice.
• Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies, enhancing the quality of care through collaborative problem-solving.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to remain current with the latest clinical practices and research in mental health.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, empowering them to understand mental health issues, available treatments, and community resources.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, employing effective communication to inspire hope and motivation in clients towards recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Empathic Journey, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more complex mental health disorders. Your ability to connect and empathize with clients from various backgrounds will be invaluable as you guide them through their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
• Expertise in various solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, with a strong emphasis on tailoring treatment plans to meet individualized needs.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitating strong therapeutic alliances with clients and promoting a therapeutic atmosphere based on trust and mutual respect.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for navigating complex mental health scenarios and driving positive outcomes.
• A collaborative mindset, valuing contributions from a multidisciplinary team and actively participating in creating a supportive work culture.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, providing therapy and support in an outpatient or similar setting.
• A track record of effectively implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and participating in team-oriented treatment planning.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms to manage client information and conduct remote sessions effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
