About the role:

As a Senior Supplier Manufacturing Professional you will oversee and improve supplier manufacturing performance for structural and mechanical components. You will work directly with suppliers to ensure compliance with Westinghouse technical, quality, and delivery requirements, while identifying risks and driving corrective actions. You will combine supplier oversight, supplier development, and crossfunctional coordination to support safe, reliable, and ontime fabrication.

You will report to the Senior Manager, WPB/OMS SPE and be located at our Kitchener, Ontario office. This position will be offered as a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform onsite and remote supplier oversight to ensure supplier compliance with Westinghouse technical, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop Supplier Oversight Plans to support document submittals, manufacturing activities, inspections, testing, and surveillance (witness and hold points)
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics (ontime delivery, quality issues, deviation notices) and lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Supplier Improvement Plans
  • Lead supplier development, qualification, and capability assessments, including evaluation of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and capacity
  • Coordinate crossfunctional activities with Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Supplier Quality to resolve supplier issues, mitigate risk, and ensure security of supply
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supplier performance roles
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes such as precision machining, welding, forming, mechanical assembly, inspection, testing, and NDE
  • Experience with process capability analysis (Cpk), manufacturing and quality plans, PFMEAs, and interpretation of engineering drawings to ASME standards
  • International travel expectations (~20%)

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $78,400 to $98,000 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
