Job description

Easement Specialist

Overview:

As an Easement Specialist at Vantage Point Solutions, your primary focus will be on the acquisition and management of easements, ensuring legal compliance for all proposed projects related to the telecommunications industry. You will be a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of easement processes. Please note: This role may require travel and direct communication with landowners.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify public jurisdictions and private property owners using available public records.
  • Prepare, submit, and secure the necessary easements, right-of-way permits, and licenses required for proposed construction on behalf of our clients.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments, clients, government entities (cities, counties, states), and other stakeholders to facilitate right-of-way activities.
  • Monitor and track the progress of internal deliverables essential for completing permits and easements (e.g., staking sheets and maps).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project-specific easement documentation.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and timecards in a punctual and accurate manner.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish accountability and rapport as a client liaison.
  • A people-oriented, effective communicator, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity while acting as a client representative.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, balancing multiple easement projects through effective prioritization.
  • Strong organizational, creative, and objective skills.
  • Proficiency with various software and MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Google Earth, Excel, and website and portal navigation.
  • Willingness and capacity to learn a variety of job duties and computer software programs.
