Alvita Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in reading, Pennsylvania. This full-time position is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to provide essential mental health support from the comfort of your home. You will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, assessing clients' emotional and psychological needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through comprehensive interviews, standardized assessments, and clinical observation.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions using individual and group therapy modalities, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment for clients.
  • Regularly monitor clients' progress toward their treatment goals and adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide accurate documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
  • A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience, showcasing proficiency in working with a range of mental health disorders.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and a commitment to ongoing learning in the field of mental health.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong therapeutic alliances with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and telehealth platforms, as well as a strong familiarity with relevant computer applications.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
