Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • The Digital Delivery Director identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for a cross-functional team responsible for designing, planning, building and supporting a portfolio of global websites, applications, and mobile apps.  The incumbent implements company-wide practices to ensure alignment of the portfolio, initiatives, and technical roadmap to the multi-year digital strategy. They provide strategy, vision and direction to ensure successful digital experiences for customers around the globe.
  • The Digital Delivery Director will lead a delivery team focused on point of sale (POS) development across 5,000 retail stores in North America and Latin America.  This role is also accountable for delivering innovative POS solutions that enhance customer experience, streamline store operations, and support business growth.  This technology leader will be responsible for driving the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance solutions. The Digital Delivery Director will lead a team of engineers and collaborate closely with product, UX, and business stakeholders to ensure quality, reliability, and consistency across all retail touchpoints.

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Education

  • Required
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in IT
  • Preferred
    • Certifications and/or Advanced degree focused on lean management and operational efficiency.

 Knowledge & Experience 

  • 9+ years of experience in IT
  • 5+ years management or enterprise department manager experience including application development. 

Preferred

  • Experience with retail business processes, including Point of Sale and Merchandise Management, and related software (e.g. Oracle Retail), applications, integrations, and infrastructure, to support customer sales transactions and store management functions. 

  • Experience in leading digital delivery teams utilizing Agile software delivery practices, to enable desired business capabilities as defined by business leaders within a Product Management framework. 

  • Experience in leading application development using MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless), ensuring scalable, flexible, and high-performance solutions with an edge computing architecture.
