Job description

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Project Manager

Location: Remote - South America or Europe Only (strictly)

Type: Full-Time

About GrowthHit

GrowthHit is a growth marketing agency that delivers data-driven strategies and runs rapid growth experiments across paid social, websites, and email automation. We’ve partnered with VC-backed startups, Fortune 500 brands, and scrappy bootstrappers alike. Our clients have been featured on The TODAY Show, Wall Street Journal, and Shark Tank. We’ve helped brands raise over $40M in funding, driven $247M+ in revenue from CRO experiments, and managed over $4M in paid ad spend.

We’re obsessed with growth. Our team has written best-selling books on marketing, launched 5-figure courses, and spoken on startup growth stages across the country. We’re a lean crew of technical marketers, data nerds, and side hustlers who get sh*t done. We treat every client like it’s our own company. We don’t work with jerks, and we don’t hire jerks.

GrowthHit is based in Seattle but operates as a remote-first team. You can work from wherever you do your best work — as long as it’s in South America or Europe.

If you’re just looking for a job or a paycheck, this isn’t for you. But if you want to build a career in digital marketing, work on cool projects, and help inspiring brands grow, keep reading.

About the Role

We are looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Project Manager who knows how to manage high-impact CRO projects for multiple clients in an agency environment. You’ll lead CRO strategies, manage testing roadmaps, and ensure Shopify clients see real, measurable growth.

If you don’t have agency experience or at least 3+ years in CRO or Growth Marketing project management, please don’t apply. This role requires someone who has been in the trenches managing CRO projects for multiple clients at once.

What You’ll Do

Project & Client Management

  • Own the full CRO workflow: Audits → Hypothesis → Test Design → Execution → Reporting.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables across internal teams (designers, developers, analysts).
  • Juggle multiple clients and projects without missing a beat.
  • Prioritize CRO tests using frameworks like ICE scoring.

CRO Strategy & Execution

  • Conduct website audits using heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics data.
  • Build CRO testing roadmaps that align with client growth objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Ads, SEO, and Email teams to align strategies.
  • Ensure every test is Shopify-optimized and tied to clear KPIs.

Client Communication & Reporting

  • Be the day-to-day contact for clients regarding CRO projects.
  • Present findings, test plans, and results with confidence.
  • Educate clients on best practices and advocate for tests that drive growth.

Data-Driven Insights

  • Analyze A/B test results and translate data into clear action steps.
  • Continuously iterate testing strategies based on performance data.
  • Ensure Shopify-specific nuances are factored into CRO strategies.

What You MUST Have

  • 3+ years of CRO Project Management or Growth Marketing experience.
  • You must have worked in an Agency environment managing multiple clients.
  • Strong understanding of CRO methodologies, A/B testing, and data analysis.
  • Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, Shopify, Optimizely/VWO, etc.
  • Exceptional project management skills — timelines, task management, follow-ups.
  • Confident communicator with clients and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset — you know how to turn data into action.
  • You MUST be based in South America or Europe. (Don’t apply if not.)

Perks & Benefits

  • 100% Remote — work from anywhere in South America or Europe.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Work directly with high-growth brands.
  • Lean, fast-moving team where you’ll have direct ownership.
  • Learning and growth opportunities - we move fast and you will too.

Do Not Apply If:

  • You don’t have agency experience.
  • You have less than 3 years of CRO/Growth Marketing project management experience.
  • You’re not located in South America or Europe.
