As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Invasive Academy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the unique needs of patients, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Maintaining clear communication with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to share updates on patient progress and treatment plans.
• Creating a tentative schedule and coordinating appointments, home visits, and interventions for effective patient monitoring.
• Facilitating home visits to conduct observations and interviews, critically evaluating and supporting clients in their environment.
• Ensuring that all program plans are executed effectively and adhering to best practices in counseling.
• Participating actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other essential gatherings that bolster collaborative care.
• Documenting progress through meticulous monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring ongoing evaluation of therapeutic interventions.
• Providing training opportunities for staff to enhance their competencies in executing program plans and maintaining documentation integrity.
• Offering follow-up support through interviews and home visits, ensuring continuous engagement with clients' evolving needs.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring ease of access for all stakeholders.
• Acting as a liaison with community mental health resources to develop and achieve patient-driven goals.

Our clinic caters to a diverse population, including both adults and youth who seek assistance with mental health issues. The LPC will have the rewarding opportunity to work with various demographics, from individuals facing everyday stressors to those in critical need of specialized therapeutic interventions.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of 2 years’ direct experience in counseling—clinical settings are preferred.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical considerations in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• A collaborative spirit, illustrated by your willingness to work closely with a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling will be viewed favorably. We value diverse skill sets that enhance the therapeutic experiences offered within our clinic.
