Work Environment

This position is a remote role, allowing for flexible work arrangements while contributing to a supportive and collaborative virtual team atmosphere. We operate with a patient-centric focus, ensuring that our Registered Dietitians are engaged in meaningful work that directly impacts patient health outcomes. Our work hours are primarily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts required based on patient demand or scheduled events.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Dietitian at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough nutritional assessments, taking into account patients' medical histories, dietary preferences, and individual health goals.
• Creating personalized nutrition care plans that are tailored to each patient's specific needs for diabetes and related conditions.
• Providing one-on-one nutrition counseling and education to patients, focusing on healthy eating habits, disease prevention, and effective management strategies.
• Monitoring and evaluating patient care progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver integrated care.
• Performing nutrition-focused physical examinations and analyzing biochemical data to accurately assess nutritional status and intervene appropriately.
• Documenting detailed reports of patient interactions, assessments, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Staying updated with current research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition, and integrating this knowledge into personalized patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on patients with diabetes and other related conditions, including those requiring specialized dietary management such as weight loss, food allergies, and gastrointestinal disorders. You will be a key player in helping these patients navigate their dietary challenges, ultimately assisting them in achieving better health outcomes and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in Florida.
• In-depth knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and medical nutrition therapy.
• Strong skills in communication, interpersonal relationships, and patient education.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in diabetes management or outpatient settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits
