JOB SUMMARY

The Arch Insurance Technology team is responsible for solving human, technology, and business challenges through innovative solutions. The Sr. Architect, internally known as Domain Architectplays a key role in driving technology strategy and technical solutions across a domain comprising multiple products and systems. This individual ensures that solutions align with Arch's overall technical strategy, support engineering best practices, and maximize code and deployment efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, solution-focused, and technology-savvy professional who can deliver high-impact solutions that drive business value.

This is a remote role, with monthly travel to our Arch offices. Our Sr. Architect must work Eastern Time.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related technical and strategic experience.

Preferred Technical Experience:

  • Application and service modernization, including:
    • Cloud technologies
    • Microservices architecture
    • RESTful APIs
    • DevSecOps
    • Containerization

Domain Knowledge:

  • Experience in insurance and/or financial services is a strong plus.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

For Raleigh: $114,800- 178,214/year

For Jersey City: $144,100 - $223,693/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
