Job Title: Technical Content Marketing Manager

Job Location: This role would ideally be in NYC or Fredericton, NB (Canada but can be remote North America only) 

Job Duration: Six (6) months minimum, w/possible extension

Job Description: A cloud-based security company, is looking for a stellar Content Marketing Manager for our team. He/she will own, develop, and implement Client Security's content strategy as we create a new category in a crowded, cloud security space. The Technical Content Marketing Manager will be researching and producing high-quality thought leadership content that drives traffic, engagement, and demand generation. Additional responsibilities include building and owning the content calendar, managing external resources, running social media for promotion, and sales enablement. This role would ideally be in NYC or Fredericton, NB (Canada but can be remote North America only).

Technical Content Marketing Manager candidates who join our team will have a tremendous impact on our success and mission to be the industry leader in our space. We're looking for candidates who are self-motivated, understand the cloud security industry, and passionate about winning. The role will report to the Director of Marketing.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Ideate, develop, execute, and distribute compelling B2B cloud security content on technical topics, like Cloud Security for Non-Human Serverless Identities, AWS S3 Security Best Practices, and more
  • Own the development of content for all of client's marketing channels, including website, blog, featured content, and social media
  • Interview subject matter experts, like CISO, CTO, Sales Engineers, and clients to develop valuable content
  • Storyboard and develop messaging for all campaign deliverables, ensuring a consistent, clear message to customers, prospects, and partners
  • Deep understanding of Client messaging, what we do with our enterprise cloud security platform, and how we help our customers (Cloud Orgs, Security Teams, DevSecOps, and GRC) solve their cloud security, identity security, data security, intelligent CSPM and Automation issues.

 

Qualification:  

  • 2-5 years of B2B content experience in the cloud, cloud security, SaaS, Paas, or Security industries.
  • Clear, confident, and compelling writing style 
  • Ability to create a content marketing strategy and executing in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Solid understanding of integrated marketing and how to incorporate the entire marketing mix into demand generation campaigns, including SEO and inbound marketing principles
  • Deep understanding of client's messaging, what we do with our enterprise cloud security platform, and how we help our customers
  • Ability to take complex cloud security technical concepts, like Effective Permissions, from interviews, webinars, or videos and break them down into stories
  • Collaborative and contribute to the team in a fast-paced, start-up environment
