Position: DevOps Engineer (Senior AWS / DevSecOps)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Senior AWS / DevSecOps Engineers to join our team and play a critical role in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure, IAM, CI/CD pipelines, and application environments. This position requires strong expertise in AWS services, secure DevOps practices, and the ability to trace vulnerabilities to their root cause, implement secure fixes, and deploy them safely into production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and remediate vulnerabilities across AWS cloud infrastructure, IAM, CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, dependencies, and deployment processes.

  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures leveraging AWS services (Lambda, S3, Route 53, SQS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL).

  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure secure delivery pipelines.

  • Integrate security tooling and guardrails into CI/CD workflows (Harness, GitHub, Terraform).

  • Conduct configuration reviews, enforce least‑privilege IAM, and remediate misconfigurations.

  • Automate security checks and compliance processes to reduce manual effort.

  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for DevSecOps adoption across teams.

  • Document remediation steps, secure design patterns, and operational improvements.

Required Skills
  • Strong background in AWS cloud engineering and DevSecOps.

  • Hands‑on experience with IAM, Lambda, S3, Route 53, SQS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL.

  • Proficiency with Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Harness, GitHub.

  • Deep understanding of secure coding, secrets management, and API security.
