Job Title: Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer Location-Type: East Coast Remote/Hybrid to Wilmington, DE Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 month contract Compensation Range: $80-90/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: This role is responsible for designing, building, and operating enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure and container platforms, enabling automation, security, and DevOps best practices across the organization. Job Summary Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform, including modules, pipelines, and state management Build and operate AKS and container-based platforms end-to-end Engineer Azure PaaS services including APIM, App Services, Functions, Storage, and SQL Implement Hub-and-Spoke networking, private endpoints, routing, and DNS solutions Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and enterprise ingress/egress patterns Enable automation, self-service capabilities, and DevOps best practices across the team Partner with security and application teams to enforce guardrails and standards Minimum Requirements: 5 years of cloud and infrastructure engineering experience Strong expertise in Terraform and Microsoft Azure Hands-on experience with AKS, Kubernetes, and containerized environments Deep understanding of Azure networking and security concepts Experience working with Palo Alto firewalls in cloud environments Proven automation and scripting skills with strong troubleshooting ability Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and security tooling Experience in M&A or divestiture environments Background in large enterprise platform or core DevOps engineering Strong documentation skills and demonstrated cross-team collaboration Long-term tenure at prior organizations, indicating broad exposure to enterprise moving parts
