• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that include crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication plans, ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to create effective patient care strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans, encouraging proactive engagement for clients in their recovery journeys.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with industry rules and standards.
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies, community partners, and other relevant service systems to enhance service delivery and integrate our programs into the community fabric.
• Establish productive relationships with various stakeholders to advocate for our programs, seeking new partnerships and funding opportunities that benefit our mission.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development, attending conferences, and representing the agency in statewide initiatives and meetings.
• Uphold and promote the philosophy, mission, and values of Together Counseling Services in all interactions and activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall operational excellence.

The Mental Health Counselor role involves working closely with a diverse population of clients, including individuals facing emotional health challenges, substance use disorders, and those requiring support for developmental disabilities. You will play a pivotal part in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey, helping them build skills and resilience to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An active Independent LMHC License.

While the minimal qualifications are essential, we prefer candidates with direct counseling experience in a mental health setting. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and multidisciplinary teamwork will be beneficial in this role.
