Job description

Axyde Analytics is recruiting a senior development-finance specialist for contingent USTDA project-scoping and technical-assistance studies across infrastructure, energy, critical minerals, digital infrastructure, ports and aviation.
The specialist will identify credible financing pathways and test whether proposed projects can meet the requirements of development finance institutions, export credit agencies, political-risk insurers and commercial co-financiers.
Required evidence:
• 15+ years in project finance, development finance, export credit, political-risk insurance, infrastructure investment or transaction advisory; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Direct experience with U.S. DFC, EXIM, multilateral development banks, bilateral DFIs/ECAs, MIGA or comparable institutions.
• Demonstrated structuring of blended-finance, guarantees, insurance, debt/equity, grant/TA and risk-allocation mechanisms.
• Ability to evaluate bankability, sponsor capacity, capital structure, covenant/security considerations, foreign-exchange and sovereign/offtaker risks.
• Experience translating technical and market findings into financing roadmaps, screening criteria, decision gates and actionable next steps.
• Independence and OCI transparency where the candidate or employer could participate in financing or transaction execution.
Engagement is remote, project-based and contingent on contract award and assignment authorization; no minimum work is guaranteed. Limited travel to U.S. and international locations subject to U.S. Department of State Level 1 or Level 2 Travel Advisories may be required.
Applicants should be currently U.S.-based and must self-attest that they are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Proposal-specific eligibility, availability, travel, résumé-use authorization and OCI facts will be confirmed separately. Submit a current résumé and one or two nonconfidential financing assignments identifying institution, sector, transaction stage, personal role, instruments considered and outcome.
