Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer, Vulnerability Management (Remote)
Overview
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Vulnerability Management (Remote) to support and enhance enterprise vulnerability management, exposure management, security engineering, and automation initiatives.
This role will serve as a senior technical contributor responsible for improving security capabilities, reducing organizational risk, and driving engineering-focused security initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, application, and endpoint environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve enterprise vulnerability and exposure management programs
  • Engineer and optimize security technologies and workflows
  • Develop automation solutions using APIs, scripting, and integrations
  • Build and maintain executive dashboards and security reporting
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security Operations, and Development teams
  • Conduct security assessments across applications, systems, and cloud environments
  • Support DevSecOps and secure development initiatives
  • Evaluate and implement new security technologies
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across security engineering efforts

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of cybersecurity experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience
  • Deep experience with vulnerability management or exposure management programs
  • Experience with vulnerability platforms such as:
    • Tenable
    • Qualys
    • Rapid7
    • CrowdStrike Exposure Management
  • Strong scripting or automation background
