‍‍Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff to develop RFP documents and detailed designs
  • Performing and reviewing hydraulic calculations
  • Drafting and editing project specifications to manage risk
  • Infrastructure condition assessment and developing rehabilitation and repair plans
  • Coordination with stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 12-15 years of water and wastewater engineering experience, 5 years' experience in project management
  • Currently have or able to obtain a Professional Engineering License in Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Design-Build Contracts
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing the development and implementation of design and construction contract documents for complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with the permitting process in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties is preferrable

Salary range: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, location)
