Job description

ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND 

Mothership Strategies is a top-ranking Democratic digital fundraising firm. We are experts in engaging grassroots supporters online through digital fundraising and online advertising. Mothership has raised over $1 billion for some of the largest Democratic campaigns and most influential progressive causes. We are a motivated and passionate team that loves taking ownership of tasks, solving problems, and working towards results. When Democratic candidates and organizations need to unite millions of supporters to raise money online, they call us.

 OVERALL FUNCTION
  • The Digital Fellow works directly with our fundraising teams to learn from some of the top strategists in the country.
  • Our fellows assist in the development and execution of cutting-edge digital programs and learn the ins-and-outs of email fundraising from top to bottom.
  • Reports to the Digital Fundraising Manager or designated supervisor
  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drafting fundraising emails and text messages
  • Learning to code emails and web pages with HTML / CSS
  • Brainstorming content for our clients
  • Q/Aing digital content and client deliverables
  • Perform other duties as needed
 QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Are committed to progressive causes and electing Democratic candidates nationwide
  • Are excited to learn basic HTML / CSS code
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time

COMPENSATION:
  • $20 an hour 
 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Term: Spring/Summer 2026 - March, or earlier, through July
  •  Full-time hours; 30 hours a week. A minimum of 20 hours per week is required.
  • Most spring fellows will commence in late March and end their fellowship in August. 
  • Exceptional fellows may be offered an extension or full time status.
