Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias by SKU and customer, diagnose root causes, and drive corrective action with cross-functional owners.
  • Maintain and improve demand planning tools and models, including exception-based alerts that flag forecast risk early.
  • Analyze POS, syndicated data (e.g., Circana/IRI, Nielsen, SPINS), and DTC e-commerce analytics to spot emerging trends and adjust the outlook proactively.
  • Serve as the primary demand-side partner to Supply Planning, clearly communicating changes in outlook that affect production and purchasing decisions.
  • Support new product forecasting, including analog-based approaches for items without sales history.
  • Present forecast risks, opportunities, and demand insights to cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role - food, beverage, or CPG experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills; experience with forecasting/demand planning software (e.g., o9, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, SAP IBP, or similar) plus advanced Excel.
  • Experience with syndicated data sources (Circana/IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) and/or DTC e-commerce analytics.
  • A track record of leading cross-functional S&OP or consensus forecasting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting forecasts and trade-offs to senior leadership.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity - energized by the pace of a growing consumer brand.
  • Preferred, but not required:
    • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP).
    • Experience forecasting across both retail/wholesale and DTC/e-commerce channels.
    • Background in beverage, coffee, or functional food/supplement categories.
