• Establish and maintain trusting and therapeutic relationships with patients to facilitate open communication and effective therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose varying mental health issues, and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Lead therapeutic sessions for individuals and couples, utilizing various modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Regularly assess and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed to maximize therapeutic effectiveness.
• Provide ongoing consultations and support to clients, helping them to navigate challenges and achieve their mental health goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when referrals to specialists are needed, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Keep updated on the latest therapeutic trends and evidence-based practices to enhance the quality of care delivered.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, comprising individuals, couples, and families grappling with various challenges, including but not limited to marital conflict, emotional distress, trauma, and mental health disorders. This position requires sensitivity to the complexities of family dynamics and the ability to provide tailored support to clients from all backgrounds, fostering a safe and inclusive space for healing.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, therapeutic techniques, and treatment methodologies.

• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapies for substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and family therapy methods will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing therapeutic interventions that motivate clients toward positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a remote team setting.
