Position Overview

Peace of Mind Mental Health Care & Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time role offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing skilled professionals to support our mission from anywhere. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in providing comprehensive mental health services, focusing on early intervention strategies for children and their families.

About the Organization

At Peace of Mind Mental Health Care & Counseling, we value empowerment and inclusivity. Our organization is deeply committed to serving marginalized populations, helping individuals recognize their potential and thrive. We believe in creating an equitable workplace that honors diverse perspectives and experiences. By fostering an environment where every employee can be their authentic self, we enhance our effectiveness in delivering quality mental health care to those we serve.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a community health clinic setting but provides the flexibility of remote work. Our remote model enables our LCSWs to balance their professional and personal commitments effectively while continuing to deliver high-quality care. We employ collaborative technologies that foster teamwork and open communication, ensuring you remain connected with team members and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental needs, identifying strengths and areas for growth.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes as a committed team member, collaborating with fellow professionals to optimize the care environment.
  • Offer ongoing support and guidance to families, equipping them with strategies and resources to enhance their child's developmental progress.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations, maintaining compliance in all evaluations, assessments, and treatments.
  • Establish rapport with children, families, and team members to foster a nurturing and effective learning environment.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices to develop joint plans with families, recommending interventions and frequency of services tailored to child and family priorities.
  • Provide coaching and support in natural settings, ensuring strategies are integrated into daily activities for optimal child learning.
  • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety standards for both staff and clients in care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on the youngest members of our community—children from birth to three years old who face developmental delays or disabilities. Our LCSWs are critical in supporting families with children who require early intervention services, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate successes. By implementing tailored interventions, you will have a direct impact on improving developmental outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for these children and their families.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW issued by the Department of Public Health.
  • Valid driver’s license required for potential fieldwork and community engagement.
  • Demonstrated commitment to adapting therapeutic approaches based on children’s individual learning styles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple cases.
  • Proficient communication skills to facilitate family interactions and collaborate with team members.
  • Respectful and cooperative demeanor, fostering teamwork and collaborative practices.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of experience working with children in an early intervention capacity.
  • Experience with Natural Learning Environment Practices would be highly regarded.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, enhancing our ability to serve diverse families.
Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is between USD 75,000 and 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid time off, and sick leave, life insurance, and profit-sharing opportunities. We also offer employee discounts with various vendors, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and referral bonuses.

At Peace of Mind Mental Health Care & Counseling, we prioritize professional development and career advancement. Our organization supports ongoing training and education initiatives and encourages continuous learning in evidence-based practices. As you grow with us, there will be opportunities to take on leadership roles, mentor new staff, and contribute to program development.
