As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a multifaceted role including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the unique needs of children and their families.
• Implementing evidence-based practices to monitor outcomes and improve treatment effectiveness.
• Providing educational support to families, equipping them with valuable information and skills to foster their child’s development.
• Building rapport with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members to cultivate a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that align with the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Utilizing a coaching model and natural environment teaching techniques in sessions.

Your primary focus will be on children and their families, particularly those in need of early intervention services. You will play a critical role in assisting families to enhance their child’s developmental skills and addressing mental health challenges. This position requires an understanding and sensitivity to the unique pressures faced by marginalized communities.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC).
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with a focus on children and early intervention.
• A deep commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices and an ability to resonate with diverse learning styles.
• Bilingual capabilities are encouraged to better serve our diverse client base.
