Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of clients' mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their personal goals and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in a compassionate manner.
• Facilitate educational sessions for clients and their families on mood disorders, along with available treatment options, and promote effective self-care practices.
• Monitor client progress comprehensively, adjusting treatment plans and approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and coordinated treatment strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research related to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain diligent, confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Advocate for clients' needs and contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing mental health stigma within the community.

Qualifications

• A current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in California.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
