Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs, establish baseline data, and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to promote healing and resilience.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to cultivate community support and share valuable coping strategies among peers.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and management during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of patient progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending training workshops and case consultations to stay current with industry best practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic interventions.
• Proficient in conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with diverse populations therapeutically.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and relevant software applications necessary for maintaining patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, delivering both individual and group therapy sessions effectively.
• Experience working remotely and managing a caseload independently while upholding high standards of care and documentation.
• A background in providing crisis intervention and navigating challenging patient situations with compassion and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits
