The Role

The Data Analyst supports the Clinical Operations Analytics team by producing clear analyses, dashboards, and reports that guide clinical and operational decisions. The role uses SQL and BI tools to explore datasets across claims, ADT/HIE, FHIR, Elevate, and other business systems, and derives insights for internal leaders and customer-facing reviews. The analyst also helps maintain accurate data models and monitors data quality across core reporting assets.

Key responsibilities of this role may include:

 

  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Engagement) to clarify analytic needs and define requirements.
  • Build clear analyses, visuals, and dashboards using datasets such as claims, pharmacy, FHIR, Elevate, and other internal tools.
  • Prepare customer-facing summaries that show Tuesday Health impact, support JOC materials, and track progress toward SLAs.
  • Assist with data model development by creating well-documented transformations and partner with Analytics Engineering to ensure models stay accurate and aligned with reporting needs.
  • Monitor data quality for dashboards and reports. Flag anomalies, locate root causes, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to reduce downstream reporting issues.

Skills and Experience

Required:

  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Proficiency with one or more BI tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc.)
  • 2-4 years in healthcare analytics or a related data role
  • Experience building dashboards or recurring reporting that supports operations

Nice-To-Have:

  • Experience analyzing and transforming data in Python
  • Familiarity with dbt and analytics engineering best practices
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud data platforms
  • Experience with healthcare datasets (e.g. claims, ADT/HIE)
  • Experience with git for version control
